Vince Dugan's career spans 35 years in the telecommunications and data communications industries, including 20 years with AT&T and four years with Northern Telecom. Most recently, Vince served as the CEO of a high-tech start-up in Atlanta, Georgia. He led the company from a team of seven in January 1995 with $150,000 in revenues through six years of growth and expansion to a team of 42 and $6 million in revenues, culminating in a successful merger and acquisition in November 2000. During this time, the company won the Best New Software Product of the Year Award at the COMNET Trade Show, and several new products were successfully launched. Mr. Dugan has held officer-level positions in the marketing and operations departments with Tekelec, Inc., and Computer Consoles, Inc. Mr. Dugan received his bachelor's degree in economics from Hofstra University in Hempstead, LI, New York, USA. He proudly served in the US Army attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant and was a Platoon Leader with the 35th Medium Tank Battalion and then an Executive Officer at Company level.
Daniel Montgomery, VP of Engineering
Mr. Montgomery has over 14 years of experience in product development and production with Motorola’s cellular phone division. Since 1992, he designed complex mechanical parts and systems for many cellular phones, including the StarTAC, and holds two patents. As an engineering manager he led the design of several successful high-end and high-volume wireless products from concept through mass production. He brings to RedXDefense extensive experience with consumer product design, supply chain management, high-volume manufacturing, and best-in-class quality standards. Christina Ellis, VP of Sales and Marketing
Mrs. Ellis has over 15 years of industry experience with Defense Contractors. As a Manufacturing/Producibility Engineer with Martin Marietta, Mrs. Ellis worked to transition products from Engineering Development to Production. While at Martin Marietta, Mrs. Ellis was awarded the Jefferson Cup - the Corporation's highest award for outstanding technical achievement for innovative application of Design for Assembly and Manufacture on the Comanche and JDAM programs. At Electronic Biosciences, Mrs. Ellis’ efforts as a technical proposal manager resulted in winning over $12 million in government development contracts. As a key member of the RedX executive team since the Company’s inception, Mrs. Ellis has been instrumental in the negotiation of over $7 million in government contracts, creation of the Company’s website and branding as well as writing press releases and proposals and marketing. Mrs. Ellis received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and minor in Professional Writing and Language from Virginia Tech. : : : top
Dr. Sarah Toal, VP of Chemistry
Dr. Toal received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego in 2005 where she researched photoluminescent materials as chemical sensors for nitrogen-based explosives and carcinogenic chromium(VI). She has a diverse background in chemistry, including photophysical chemistry, solid-state and solution fluorimetry, dynamic light scattering, polymer chemistry, and synthetic organic and inorganic chemistry. She is an Achievement Rewards for Collegiate Scientists Scholar and has authored numerous academic publications and patents. Dr. Toal also received a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine. : : : top
Adam Pugaczewski, Director of Sourcing & Production
Mr. Pugaczewski has over 20 years of experience in managing and developing supply chain management practices for privately held manufacturing companies throughout his career. He has held positions including production planning manager, VP of Operations, Director of Logistics, and has been with RedXDefense since December 2008. He presently serves the company as its Director of Sourcing and Production. In addition to his practical experience he was certified by the American Production and Inventory Control Society early in his career and holds an MBA degree from the University of Baltimore where he completed his undergraduate degree. Adam enjoys the entrepreneurial and fast paced work environment and is dedicated to serving the needs of RedXDefenses’ customers and their respective missions. Rebecca O'Conor, Senior Accountant
Mrs. O’Conor has over 29 years’ experience in accounting, budgeting and forecasting. She brings to RedXDefense experience in the public accounting, nonprofit, and private sectors.
Prior to joining RedXDefense, she worked at VoiceLog LLC. She started at VoiceLogLLC from its inception and aided in the multi-million dollar acquisition of VoiceLog LLC by a large publicly traded multi-national corporation.
Mrs. O’Conor received her B.S. in Accounting from Widener University.
Mr. Ericksen has over 18 years of mechanical design engineering and product development experience working at companies ranging from small one-office firms to large global corporations. His designs span from micro miniature computer hard drive components to full scale automobile wind-tunnel components. The passion for engineering that Mr. Ericksen brings to RedX extends beyond the work environment as well having worked on numerous motorcycle projects that have been featured nationally and internationally in print and on television. Mr. Ericksen holds two patents. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. : : : top
Sean Conte, Research Chemist
Sean Conte obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Cornell University in 2013. During his graduate career, he worked on developing the next generation cathode materials for electrical energy storage (EES) devices. His major focus was on the synthesis and electrochemical characterization of redox-active organic materials. After graduation, he joined RedXDefense as a Research Chemist.. : : : top
